Training Seminars
Rod Dunlap has conducted many seminars over the years on legal issues involving insurance fraud, arson, and real estate. He has been a featured speaker for the International Association of Arson Investigators and the International Association of Special Investigation Units on select insurance fraud topics. Recent seminars include using the Motor Vehicle Service and Repair Act to go after fraudulent body shops, how to beat Daubert challenges and the misuse of NFPA 921. Often, he has taught on issues of testimony techniques and insurance law updates.
He has also been a featured speaker for the National Association of Insurance Commissioners and the National Business Institute on real estate topics. These seminars have covered the spectrum from title dispute litigation to boundary issues like adverse possession and acquiescence.
Often Rod has been asked to provide training on specific legal trends and issues for corporate clients. One of the goals of DK-Law is to educate our clients on the law for their best interest. One key way to do this is to sit down with management, discuss the concerns, and put together a seminar that helps everyone to do their job more effectively. In fact, putting together seminars with the input and feedback of professionals helps us to learn more while we teach.
